Today is the big day! After over a year of listening, rallying and using our voices, we’ve finally reached this historic event and we would be remiss if we didn’t exercise our right.
For some of us, this is our first time, while others have been at it for years. But what matters most is that we’re making our ancestors proud by submitting our ballots—something that they had to fight for. As we all turn in our votes and likely wait with bated breath on the results, may we be soothed by the fact that we’ve done our part, and for that, we say “well done.”
