The twoaria-label=”become an everyday essential (opens in a new tab)” href=”https://www.essence.com/fashion/10-black-designers-providing-effective-face-mask/” target=”_blank”>become an everyday essential.

With our mask ultimately being the first thing people see, its not too far-fetched that the fashion industry found a way to cater to its crowd who adores modern moments- even if that means chic face mask.

Designed by three British designers, Ahluwalia, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and Marques’ Almeida and three American designers, Mara Hoffman, Liya Kebede of lemlem, and Kim Shui, the project was built in hopes to raise money for fashion initiatives created CFDA and BFC. “This is a powerful time for collaboration across all sectors and the fashion industry has demonstrated strength in unity over the last number of months,” exclaimed Caroline Rush, Chief Executive of BFC in a provided statement.

Each mask will retail for $18 for a pack of three re-usable, washable, fabric face coverings, with $1 being donated to the BFC Foundation Fashion Fund and $1 to CFDA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity programming. In addition the non-medical face coverings will be manufactured byBags of Ethics 100% owned partner factories and provide a reusable and sustainable option for the environment with no single-use plastic and will not deplete healthcare system.

Face coverings are available online from partner retailers including bagofethics.org, Amazon, John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners. Shop now.
