Rescheduling marijuana would put politics ahead of science

The Drug Enforcement Administration is considering a proposal to move marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act, which would recognize all cannabis products as having a currently accepted medical use, but the evidence does not support this conclusion and policymakers should put science ahead of politics.
