Why The Womack Sisters Are My Current Style Obsession

Some people just have that it factor. When they enter a room, heads turn. And, in this case, when their songs play, ears perk up, and full body chills ensue.

This description fits the musical trio, and group of sisters, The Womack Sisters, perfectly. And, understandably so, as greatness runs in their family. The three, BG, Zeimani, and Kucha Womack are not only the children of Cecil and Linda Womack, AKA the musical duo Womack & Womack, but they’re also the granddaughters of Sam Cooke. Need I say more?

The answer is yes. Aside from their incredibly soulful tracks, like “If I Let You,” “Chauffer,” and “If You Want Me,” they also have us ever-inspired in the beauty and style department, too.

For starters, on the beauty front, the long hair—be it pressed out or with texture shining through—gives a modern feel to their otherwise 60s-esque look. Overall, the look offers much inspiration for the upcoming fall season.

When it comes to fashion, I love that they embrace both masculine and feminine touches. Think: a pair of lace tights with baby blue mini dresses. Other times, tailored suit-inspired looks do the trick—like long pin striped dresses with ties, and even floor-length, fitted blazers with black boots.

Just in time for fall style planning, take a look at some of The Womack Sisters’ aspirational beauty and fashion moments below.
