Jordyn Woods Wore Custom Danielle Frankel For Her Malibu Wedding

Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns tied the knot in an intimate Malibu wedding over the weekend. And, for the occasion, Woods chose Danielle Frankel to bring her bridal vision to life. Even with fittings taking place in between the NBA Finals, Woods managed to get every detail in place this summer ahead of the ceremony.

The gown was classic with a modern sensibility, beginning with a subtle sweetheart neckline and delicate gathering across the bodice that gave the silhouette an effortless feel. One of the dress’s most distinctive details was the halter-esque lace strap, which stretched across Woods’ collarbones before attaching to the gown just beneath her arms. The unexpected placement added an architectural element while keeping the overall look soft and romantic.

The skirt delivered another standout moment. A lace trim along the silk fabric layer fell asymmetrically across the top of the gown, creating a diagonal line that rested over the silk, Cinderella-inspired skirt. From there, the lace cascaded down toward the floor, adding movement and a princess-like finish without overwhelming the simplicity of the silhouette.

Woods kept her bridal wardrobe classic with a twist, proving that a wedding dress doesn’t need dramatic embellishments or an unconventional silhouette to make an impact. Instead, thoughtful details, like the delicate lace strap and asymmetrical overlay, can transform a timeless gown into something distinctly personal.

For her walk down the aisle, Woods made a case for the modern bride: elegant, romantic, and understated, with just enough unexpected detail to make the look unforgettable.
