Legendary singer, songwriter, businesswoman and philanthropist Dolly Parton died at 80 surrounded by loved ones in a Nashville hospital. Her team confirming, “After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her earthly life.” Tributes are pouring in from throughout the entertainment world including from her “Steel Magnolias” co-star Sally Field and fellow music legend Paul McCartney.
