SCOTUS allows Trump’s ballroom project to continue. And, the Army secretary resigns

Construction continues on a new helipad on the South Lawn of the White House and the East Wing ballroom on August 24, 2026, in Washington, D.C.

The Supreme Court has ruled that President Trump’s ballroom project may continue. And, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll resigns after 18 months on the job.
