$TRUMP meme coin assures top buyers ‘exclusive’ dinner with president

A bottle of Trump fragrance, commemorative Trump posters and trading cards, an 18-karat gold Trump watch and “the most exclusive dinner in the world,” featuring President Donald Trump himself.

Those are just some of the luxury prizes promised to crypto traders who enter the latest competition hosted by the membership-only arm of the crypto company that owns Trump’s meme coin.

The competition appears to be the latest attempt by the Trump organization, which includes Fight Fight Fight LLC, the crypto firm behind the $TRUMP Coin Club, to cash in on his presidency by offering donors exclusive access to the president.

It could take up to $1 million worth of $TRUMP coin to guarantee an invitation to the dinner, judging by data from blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis. The event, which promises to feature three mystery “legends” alongside the president, is scheduled to be held on Nov. 22 at the Trump National Golf Club just outside the nation’s capital in northern Virginia, according to a new event page launched on the coin’s website Wednesday.

The winners will be determined based on a leaderboard formula that appears to be designed to encourage sales of the coin.

When the contest ends on Nov. 12, the top 185 Trump coin investors will receive invitations to the dinner. The top 29 purchasers will get access to a “VIP Reception with YOUR FAVORITE PRESIDENT.” The four largest $TRUMP holders will also be gifted a “TRUMP 18K Gold Watch,” which retails for around $899 on the Trump retail website.

The dinner has further inflamed ethics concerns over the large sums of money Trump has made from his cryptocurrency ventures in his second term. The Trump meme coin and others like it hold no intrinsic value. The digital asset is a bet on Trump’s image, banking on its value rising throughout his term.

So far, that has not happened. The coin surged to a high of $70 shortly after Trump’s inauguration in 2025, but it has since plummeted in value, leading to significant losses for thousands of investors. It currently trades at around $2.

An August report from the government watchdog group Public Citizen estimated that investors in Trump’s sprawling crypto enterprise have racked up a total of $4.7 billion in losses over the last year.

The decline in value of the $TRUMP meme coin “reflects a massive transfer of wealth away from later investors to a small group who invested and bought early,” Public Citizen said in a statement.

The meme coin has been lucrative, however, for Trump himself.

Though the president does not own the crypto company behind the coin, he has amassed $635 million from a licensing agreement that allowed it to be sold using his name, image and likeness, public disclosures show. It’s the most lucrative of the president’s many crypto ventures, which have generated a combined $1.4 billion in revenue since his return to the White House in 2025, according to the president’s lengthy June financial disclosures.

The Trump Organization and the White House did immediately respond to MS NOW’s request for comment.
