A nonprofit has sued the federal government over its plans to paint the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool blue

With a blue sky above the Lincoln Memorial, people walk along the reflection pool in Washington, D.C., Friday, June 9, 2023.

The Cultural Landscape Foundation, a nonprofit advocacy organization, is asking a federal judge to halt President Trump’s plans to resurface the reflecting pool on the National Mall.
