On a recent trip to Europe, I spent time in Amsterdam, dedicating my days to scouring the city for the best vintage finds. With each store located less than a 15-minute drive from my stay at the CitizenM South, it was easy to hop from shop to shop and still make it back in time to unbox my treasures.

Located in the Elandsgracht neighborhood, this vintage store sits on a bustling corner. Inside, the palette leans heavily into earthy tones—think tan, cream, brown, and navy. The selection feels perfectly tailored for the minimalist girl with an edge, featuring subversive silhouettes, square-toe Jil Sander pumps, and other elevated essentials.
Also nestled in the Elandsgracht neighborhood, this whimsical vintage store specializes in archival costumes. Its eclectic selection ranges from brightly colored coats to 1940s-era princess gowns, alongside squire ensembles and even vintage ice skates.
This exclusive, appointment-only vintage showroom feels like it’s been pulled straight from the Pinterest boards of fashion girls around the world. There’s something about the effortless way they present vintage workwear, provocative graphic tees, and Japanese denim that keeps you scrolling. The selection also includes coveted designer pieces from Prada, Ann Demeulemeester, Comme des Garçons, Gucci, and more, all priced surprisingly well for such hard-to-find gems. Nhogirl is undeniably for the cool girls.
Episode is a curated thrift store with multiple locations across Europe, including Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam. In Amsterdam alone, there are four outposts. The first we visited was in the Nine Streets, the largest and busiest of the bunch. With a strong Y2K focus, Episode caters to a younger shopper, with most pieces priced under €50.
The second location we stopped by was on Spuistraat 96, where I scored a Ralph Lauren button-down, while my sister picked up a vintage varsity jacket.
Located just steps from Episode’s Spuistraat location, Cream is a haven for the girly girls. From the moment you walk in and spot the David Bowie cutout, you know exactly what you’re stepping into.
