Artemis II Roars Into Space in Groundbreaking Moon Mission

The Artemis II, NASA’s most powerful rocket ever, blasted off with four astronauts inside the Orion space capsule on Wednesday, beginning their journey to get humans back on the lunar surface for the first time in more than 50 years. While this mission will not include a lunar landing, it will chart a path for humans to return to the moon in 2028. NBC’s Tom Costello reports and former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino joins TODAY with analysis, saying “A new era has really started.”
