Beyoncé’s hair is a class act. Act I: sun-washed blonde on her Renaissance tour. Act II: a Cowboy Carter platinum blonde mane. On Wednesday, Monica attended New York Fashion Week in a vintage blonde bob, too. Kelly Rowland was a guest on the Jennifer Hudson show in an asymmetrical cut. Now, Beyoncé made her first post of the year. In it, she showed off her cropped platinum blonde tresses; a chin-scathing honey blonde color with dark roots. 

She posted her new cut on Instagram last night, with polaroids backdated to the 2026 Super Bowl on February 8. Lounged in a hotel room right outside Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara—where her husband Jay-Z and daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi, were field-side—the star paired her bouncy, coiffed ‘do with a modest curtain bang and a candy apple green croc coat and bag.

While it’s her first appearance of the year, she has a busy one ahead. She just released her Beymine Valentine’s Day collection and is serving as co-chair at the 2026 Met Gala. And, perhaps we can expect a Betty Black rock tour? For now, her new bob is enough to hold us over until then.
