  • The Best Red Carpet Looks From The 2026 BET Awards

Tonight, Black Hollywood took to Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for the 2026 BET Awards, an annual celebration of the best in Black entertainment. Hosted by comedian Druski, the show will feature performances from entertainers including Cardi B and Kehlani, who will both perform at ESSENCE Festival this weekend. But first, the red carpet had its own moment.

For one, Janet Jackson honored Tupac in a t-shirt cinched with a corset and dressed up with a veiled hat over a durag. Festival heavyweight Doechii turned heads in a revealing dark brown knit gown and an equally interlocked hairdo. Meanwhile, Queen Latifah proved fashion is not confined to any season. She arrived in a pouffy textured coat, braided updo, and a red lip.

Just over a month after giving birth, ESSENCE Festival performer Latto showed in a see-through corset gown with baby pink makeup and a classic French tip. Similarly, Eva Marcille went totally nude: skin-toned hair, brows, and lipstick complete with a lime green dress in a true embodiment of summer. Then, before the carpet ended, Nia Long paired a brown slip dress with bright red nails, Chanel jewelry, and an extra-long ponytail.

Ahead, take a look at the best style moments from the 2026 BET Awards red carpet.
