Iranians took the streets in celebration after Mojtaba Khamenei, a son of Iran’s late supreme leader, was named as his successor. Mojtaba was selected as the Republic of Iran’s third leader just over a week following his father’s death in U.S. and Israeli strikes on Tehran.
