The President Donald Trump-backed board of the Kennedy Center voted to close the main building for $250 million worth of repairs. The president says “the reconstruction and the renovation of The Kennedy Center will not take place,” until his name gets added to the building. NBC’s Hallie Jackson reports for TODAY.
