Merrimack Won a Title, but the N.C.A.A. Tournament Will Have to Wait

The New York Times – Sports:

Because of an unpopular N.C.A.A. rule for schools transitioning from Division II to I, Merrimack knew it would not be eligible for the N.C.A.A. tournament. Next season will be its first chance.
