Michael B. Jordan took home the Oscar for Best Actor for his role as Smoke and Stack in Sinners. The win marked a major milestone in Jordan’s career as his first ever Oscar Award. Jordan is only the fifth Black man to win the Oscar for Best Actor, following Sidney Poitier (for Lilies of the Field in 1963), Denzel Washington (Training Day, 2002), Jamie Foxx (Ray, 2005), Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland, 2007), and Will Smith (King Richard, 2022).
For the momentous occasion, Jordan and his longtime stylist Jason Bolden teamed up with Louis Vuitton to create a custom look worthy of the historic night.

The suit nodded to Chinese cultural tailoring traditions with a structured stand collar jacket, finished with polished onyx buttons running down the front. A singular chest pocket lined with silk added a subtle but luxurious detail, emphasizing the precision of the design. The sleek silhouette was paired with matching tuxedo trousers that continued the refined aesthetic.
Adding a contemporary edge, a delicate silver chain was draped along Jordan’s belt line, offering a modern twist on classic formalwear. The look was completed with glossy patent leather dress shoes that mirrored the sharp finish of the suit. Altogether, the ensemble balanced tradition, craftsmanship, and modern style, making it one of our favorite fashion moments of the night.
