New York exodus: High costs, taxes drive residents to Florida

Governor Kathy Hochul’s campaign message for New Yorkers to leave for Florida has backfired, as many have taken her advice and she is now trying to lure them back with promises of tax relief, while New York City considers raising the minimum wage to $30 an hour, which could further exacerbate the exodus.
