Olandria, Pat McGrath & Pandora Just Gave Us The Ultimate Glam Girl Collaboration

Olandria has long proven just how good bright pink blush looks on Black women. Now, as fall fully sets in, the Love Island star has her sights set on a new shade. “Red is my power color,” she tells ESSENCE exclusively. As the face of legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath’s new collaboration with Pandora, Olandria makes a case for wearing more red—but this time, for their jewelry. Between McGrath’s legendary approach to glamour, Olandria’s undeniable It-girl status, and Pandora’s signature charm jewelry, this is the kind of linkup that feels tailor-made for the Rich Auntie in all of us.

For McGrath, the collaboration marries her most prized mediums. “With Pandora, the two arts I have always loved became a single language,” McGrath says in a press release. “I adorn the body with color, light, crystal, glitter, and pure pigment.” Like makeup you never have to wipe off, “jewelry is that same instinct made eternal.”

The 14-piece collection includes heart-shaped dangle charms, a red lipstick-inspired charm, and Olandria’s favorite: a statement red lip charm. “I love a bold moment, and a red lip is very bold,” she says. That, and the gold-plated red lipstick charm. “It’s so cute, so chic, and very Pat,” she says.

In the campaign, she describes her orange-gold glitter eyeshadow, pink cheeks, and glossed lips as “very subtle, but bold.” Paired with layered gold necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and even a nose ring, the look embraced the warmth of gold-plated jewelry and autumnal shades.

Beyond the collection’s red accents, Olandria’s deep-toned manicure was a shade we can expect to see her in even more this season. “Since red is my power color, the fall version of that would be burgundy,” she says. “I would love to wear more burgundy colors.” So, ’tis the season of color, transformation, and of course, rich reds.
