Search Underway for Missing Skiers After Massive Avalanche

An urgent search and rescue operation is underway in the Sierras after a terrifying avalanche buried multiple back country skiers. First responders rescued six, but are still looking for nine more still missing. NBC’s Morgan Chesky reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the forecast.
