Big coifs. Long lashes. Sparkling gowns. And, of course, hair-raising vocals. Toni Braxton hits all the notes of what a living legend is. But, her latest appearance is proof she knows exactly what they look like, too. While in Philadelphia for The New Edition Way tour, Braxton took us back to a decade where chanteuses reigned supreme: the 1960s.
Her >Marie Brown. The shoulder-length hair, down to a bang draping over one eye, was reminiscent of The Supremes, who were known for their short, yet voluminous bouffants. The front was brushed and blown out while the ends were curled for extra volume and paired with big lashes and a nude lip.
