Trump says he’s cancelling Iran strikes, deal pending

President Donald Trump exits Air Force One at Morristown Municipal Airport in Morristown, N.J., Friday, July 31, 2026, after a trip to Camp David, the presidential retreat.

Trump said that Iran and other Middle Eastern countries had asked the U.S. “to hold off any attack” on Iran because “the perimeters of a deal has been agreed to.”
