WATCH: Yahya Abdul-Mateen II Hunts For Justice In Final ‘BY ANY MEANS’ Trailer

Today, Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for BY ANY MEANS, the upcoming crime thriller starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Mark Wahlberg.

Inspired by real events, the film takes audiences to Mississippi during the 1960s, where Abdul-Mateen plays a young Black FBI agent investigating the murders of civil rights leaders. His search puts him alongside Greg Scarpa, a notorious Mafia hitman played by Wahlberg. Their unlikely partnership forces both men to confront how far they are willing to go in pursuit of justice.

Directed by Elegance Bratton from a screenplay by Sascha Penn, BY ANY MEANS also stars Nicole Beharie, Giancarlo Esposito and LisaGay Hamilton. Josh Lucas and LaChanze appear in the film, with David Strathairn also joining the cast.

The project arrives during a busy period for Abdul-Mateen. The actor recently earned an Emmy nomination for his performance as Simon Williams in Marvel’s Wonder Man, despite the series ending after one season. He also starred as John Creasy in Man on Fire and will appear alongside Brad Pitt in The Adventures of Cliff Booth later this year.
