After days of backlash following her Halloween costume as a homeless person, Martha Stewart sits down with TODAY’s Craig Melvin to address the controversy. “I’m aware of all those social issues…and I care desperately about all the problems facing us, but I made a mistake. I was stupid,” she said. She also apologizes to Craig for claiming him spilling chocolate on her earlier caused the last-minute costume change, saying it was “a joke.”
